Voucher Payments on Checkout

When using Kora’s Checkout, you can have Voucher enabled as a payment method.

Customer Checkout Experience

1. Customer selects “Pay with Voucher” (or a specific voucher brand e.g 1Voucher) at Checkout.
2. The following form fields are displayed:
   • Voucher code/PIN
   • Phone number (required)
   • Email
3. Kora validates the format of the voucher code/PIN according to the selected voucher type.
4. If valid, Kora processes the voucher payment with the partner.
5. On completion:

For successful payments

• On checkout, Kora shows a success screen.
• Via API, a success response is returned.

For failed payments

Kora displays a relevant error:

• Invalid voucher
• Insufficient balance
• Transaction failed. Please try again.
